a wild sauna by the sea

our sauna is born out of love and the heartfelt desire to create a space where wellness and joy are explored with nature, in community.

join us for a wild sauna

Our mission is to bring people together, outside on our beautiful West of Ireland coastline, in all weather and seasons,

to explore health and wellbeing, through guided experience of hot and cold therapy, breathwork, yoga, movement and play.

Our wild, wood fired sauna is a Finnish-style dry sauna. It was lovingly crafted by skilled craftsmen in the West of Ireland

and will live on the Wild Atlantic Way at Renville Pier, Oranmore, Co. Galway.

Take a dip

Take a dip in the wild Atlantic sea water or in our freshwater cold plunge barrel. Enter the water slowly, breath calmly, submerge your shoulders, relax your body.

Try 1 minute and increase to a few minutes as

your body adapts.

Warm yourself

Then warm yourself in our beautiful wood fired sauna. It is heated to about 80C / 176F. Try 5 mins to start & gradually increase to a max of 20 mins. Pour water gently & slowly, on the Connemara granite rocks to create steam, increasing the temperature and humidity of the sauna.

Relax, breath, sweat, enjoy…

Feel revived

Move slowly outside and let your body settle for a few moments in the wind, sitting on our

benches to allow your body time to rest and recalibrate and feel revived.

Repeat the whole process to get a full experience of Sauna Fiáin.
